Comfort Fit: Downsize 0.5 to 1 EU size. Your toes should be flat but touching the end of the shoe. Balanced Fit: Downsize 1.0 to 1.5 EU sizes. Toes should be slightly curled for better edging power. Performance Fit: Downsize 2.0 to 3.0 EU sizes. Toes are heavily knuckled for maximum control on tiny footholds.
Comfort Fit: Go 0.5 size up from your street shoe size. This provides a flatter, pain-free fit for multi-pitch climbing. Balanced Fit: Stick true to your street shoe size. Your toes will have a slight curl with no dead space in the heel or arch. Performance Fit: Go 0.5 size down from your street shoe size. This gives a highly tight, knuckled-toe fit for maximum control.
Go 0.5 size UP from your daily street shoe size. This extra space prevents your toes from smashing into the front casing on fast, steep downhills, which causes black toenails.
Go 0.5 to 1.0 full size UP from your daily street shoe size. Carrying a heavy backpack forces your arches to flatten out and expand, making your feet physically wider and longer under load.
